Dear Subi Church Family,
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Subi Church is entering a new phase of ministry, unlike what we’ve ever done before. We’re calling this Subi Together, because the body of Christ remains one and the Holy Spirit unifies us wherever we are.
As you are already aware, the Australian government’s has implemented new restrictions on gatherings of over 100 people in an indoor location.
What does this mean for Subi Church?
We will not be cancelling church, instead we are changing the way we bring church to you. We will be running one service, Saturday at 5pm, and limiting the number of people to 50. You’ll be able to register for each ‘live’ service on our website.
We strongly encourage you to keep your normal time of worship. The recorded sermon and music of praise will be made available to you through our website (https://subiaco.church/), followed by the Lord Supper. You are welcome to collect pre-packaged communion elements from the Church office during the week (Tues-Fri, 9am-4.30pm) or prepare your own at home.
Kids ministry and Youth ministry will also be modifying the way they continue to bring the gospel to our children. Please contact Airen for Kids (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Jordan for Youth (email@example.com) if you would like to receive these resources.
Please note that we will not be running any face-to-face weekday ministries until further notice.
We will continue to keep you updated via our church website, email and our Facebook page.
Finally, as we enter this time of transition, let’s remember that we, as the body of Christ, continue to be united by the power of the Holy Spirit. We may not be in the same room or face-to-face, but we are going to do this together, for the glory of God.
Yours in Christ,
